The king's summer progress from early August to mid September 1502 was centred on Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire, including Gloucester itself on 12 August and Berkeley castle, Gloucestershire, for at least a week from the end of August to early September; he was in Woodstock and Langley, Oxfordshire, for the latter part of September and only returned to Westminster in late October.
